Driven Horsebox Hire in Essex

We are a fully authorised horse transporter. This is a United Kingdom Animal Transporter Authorisation for Type One Authorisations (valid for all journeys, up to journeys of 8 hours). This authorisation entitles us to transport any Animals up to 8 hours journey time.

 

We use a Renault Master Kingsacre coach built horsebox based on a 3.5 ton vehicle that can carry a maximum of two horses simultaneously. There is also some space for tack, equipment and up to Two passengers.

 

Our Horsebox is a very clean, hygienic and safe environment for your horse, it is cleaned and sanitised after every use to avoid any chance of infection, illness or disease being passed on.

 

We hold the certificate of Competence in the Transport of Animals by Road. We are able to transport your horses to and from anywhere in the UK

 

We are DEFRA approved, our certificate number is 'UK/BURY/T1/00037412' & we are WATO level 3 with a Certificate of Competence for Drivers and attendants approved.

 

Waiting time is charged at £20.00 p/h. It is charged in ¼ hour segments. It is charged whenever loading/unloading takes longer than 30 minutes for each operation. We advise owners to have the horse prepared at the agreed time so we can proceed swiftly and cause your horse the least distress possible.

 

We are fully covered for breakdown recovery for you and your horses by www.equinerescue.co.uk  who are the leading equine rescue transport company in the U.K. which will take our vehicle, and more importantly your horse(s) to your chosen destination, in an unfortunate event that a breakdown does occur.

 

Every horse we carry on our horsebox must hold a Valid Full Horse passport, this is very important as we will NOT be able to move your horse if it not given to us as it is required to us by www.defra.gov.uk  that you must provide us with the passport for the horse that we are transporting.

 

If in the event that we arrive to collect your horse/pony and a passport is not given to us for transportation you WILL be charged the full daily rate.
